How to use the NiceIntro.com
Directory of Members
- Please note!
Membership in NiceIntro.com is completely FREE ...
but we have a zero-tolerance policy regarding offensive language,
solicitations, and discourteousness in any form and we reserve the right to
immediately delete, without notice, any member who violates our standards.
- If you are not yet a member,
please click here to join now.
This is a FREE service. There is no cost to join. There are no strings
attached. All enrollment information is kept confidential and will not be sold to,
given to, or shared with others.
For security reasons, to protect all members, one must be a currently enrolled
member of NiceIntro.com with a valid email address in our database in order to
send email messages to other members. Non-members can view the Directory of
Members and Personal Introduction Websites, but the system is designed to protect
members from unwanted email messages from non-members.
- Click on any member's name in the Directory of Members
to send an email message to that member to introduce yourself. Our system
does not disclose any information that could compromise your security.
It simply identifies you by your first name, city, state, and zip code only
so that anyone who receives a message from you can easily find you in our Directory
of Members and respond to you without disclosing their email address or any
other identity revealing information. Of course, you always have the option to include
your email address within the text of any message you send so that anyone who
receives a message from you can respond to you directly. With NiceIntro.com, you
have the best of all worlds -- the option to exchange messages without disclosing any
information that could reveal your identity -- or you can provide your email address for
more direct, person-to-person communication.
- Click on the green button
next
to any member's name, in the column titled "Web" to go to that member's
Personal Introduction Website (if they have one).
We strongly recommend that setting up your own Personal Introduction
Website is an excellent way to introduce yourself to others.
Click here for information on how to do it.
And remember, you can update your Personal Introduction Website
at any time by simply re-entering new text and a new photo.
- How to redisplay the Directory of Members
by designated selection criteria:
The select and sort functions described below should be fairly intuitive and will
probably be easier to use with some experimentation instead of reading all these
explanations. Never-the-less, the following descriptions may clear up any questions
you may have:
- To see the most recent additions to the Directory of Members,
just click on
and the Directory will
redisplay in the order of the most recently added members. Even if you or another
new member enters a new or updated record while you are online, all of the latest new
additions will be displayed immediately.
- To select and display the Directory of Members by a specific City,
State, Zipcode, or Areacode, just click the radio button next to your desired selection
criteria, for example "State" as shown below

and then type the two-letter code (standard postal code) for the state you want in
the white input box and then press
and the system will display all members from
just the state you specify.
Or, you can select one from City, State, Zipcode, or Areacode
and also just Females only or Males
only to generate a new Directory list with those two criteria as
shown in the example below. Notice, in this example, that for zip code, only
the first two digits of a desired zip code are entered. This demonstrates that
you can enter only partial specifications in the white input box to get a more
inclusive result.
- To select and display the Directory of Members by all
Females only or by all Males only,
you can click only the Females or Males radio button shown
above and not click to select any of the first four selection criteria
options listed.
- Finally, to sort and redisplay the Directory of Members by City, State,
Zipcode, or Areacode, you have another option, which is to click on any one of the
blue City: State: Zipcode:
or A/C: column headings.
If you do this, then do not press
, but just wait a moment for the Directory to regenerate and redisplay.
