My life is satisfying and full, yet the Bible says we are not meant to be alone, so I consider it my welcome responsiblity to be open to a new relationship. I enjoy other people, and share time easily, so the effort will be fun. I hope.
This is the only website in which I plan to participate, having attended one of Joe & Patti's seminars and ascertained that it has value. Their questions are certainly thought-provoking! Being equally yoked is important to me, as a love triangle with Christ at its apex has a strength unequalled in the World. My partner will be patient, caring, and strong, with a sense of humor and high self-esteem, a Godly man. I highly value integrity in others and in myself, trust being based in honesty.
I've been married twice, the first ending in divorce after four years, and the second when my husband of 14 years died of cancer, 1/02. I have a 14 year old son, who is a great kid. He BMX-trickrides, and plays the guitar. My extracurricular activities include singing in a community chorus, playing cards with 11 girlfriends once a month, and helping with the Boy Scout troop to which my son belongs. I also belong to a French club and to Toastmasters, both meeting during lunch hours. I work full time, and love my job.
We have a 9-year-old German Shepherd and a 9-month-old kitty, and nobody around here smokes (yech!), but the dog has an occasional beer and I sometimes join her.
My life verse is Phil. 4: 6, 7, Paul's original "Don't worry, be happy!" It's carried me through a lot.
